 When it comes to looking up to people, there’s your parents, friends, and athletes. I interviewed three different people to see which athlete they look up to or admire. I interviewed Mackenzie Schiltz, Emma Villegas, and Kyle Sawitzky. Personally, I admire or look up to Neymar Jr. Neymar plays soccer and is Brazilian. What I admire about him is that he puts his faith in God, just like we should all.

Mackenzie Schiltz tells us that she admires a basketball player named Keegan Murray. She said that she looks up to him “because in his rookie year he was really good and even made the all-rookie first team, and I thought that was really inspiring. I have liked him since he played for Iowa, so watching him grow even more felt like a blessing.” Keegan Murray plays for the Sacramento Kings, which is cool because we all live in Sacramento. She also tells us, “I can be more like Keegan Murray by still persevering and not letting myself feel down when I’m not playing as well as I would like to.”

Emma Villegas informs us that she admires and looks up to a soccer player named Hector Fort. Emma also tells us that Hector is her favorite player. She looks up to him “because even though he doesn’t get much playing time, he has stayed loyal to his club. When he does play, he gives his all and demonstrates his amazing talents. He’s also a very humble person, and it makes him my favorite player.” Hector Fort plays for FC Barcelona, who are, in my opinion, the  second-best La Liga team. Hala Madrid! She says that she can be more like Hector Fort by “guessing I can be more like him by not giving up on my dreams and remaining calm and kind.”

Lastly Kyle Sawitzky tells us that he admires the GOAT of soccer, Cristiano Ronaldo. Kyle informs us that he looks up to him because “I look up to him because he is without a doubt the best soccer player of all time. He is an absolute unit of a human being, some might say an alien. He has 6 percent body fat, which is extremely hard to achieve, and he has sustained that for almost 20 years, and he is 40 years old. He has the best celebration (the SUIIIIIII) and the best mindset out of any player. He has been the best player, conquering multiple different leagues, unlike some people (Messi), and he has won the best trophies in the world.” Kyle very clearly tells us that Cristiano Ronaldo plays for many teams, including his national team and club. His national team is Portugal, and he plays in Saudi Arabia for Al Nassar. Kyle then tells us that he “can be more like him by really being passionate about what I want and by achieving my goals and working hard until I get to the place that I want to be in.”

In conclusion, next time you think about who you look up to or admire, really think about it and take it seriously so you can be successful in life.
