Every year I look forward to December so that means Christmas break. Christmas break means time to spend with family and friends. It also means time away from school to do what you want to in your free time. It is a period of spending time with friends and talking about what they want for Christmas. It is also time to do tradition with your family. It is time for New years parties and resolutions. I have interviewed 3 people, Charlie Riddell, Mason Jimenez and Owen Domingo about what they did for Christmas break, favorite gift, what are your family traditions and what were your new year’s resolutions.

The 1st person I interviewed was Charlie Riddell. The first question I asked him was what was your favorite part about the break. He said “ Probably having no school.” Next I asked him what was your favorite thing you got for Christmas. He said “the best thing that I got was football cards.” The 3rd question I asked him was what are your family traditions. He said “We make cookies at my grandma’s house.” The 4th question I asked him was did you do anything for new years. He said “yea I went to my neighbors house for New years.”  The last thing I asked him was what are your new year’s resolutions. He said “To probably get better at basketball and football.”

The 2nd person I interviewed was Mason Jimenez. The first question I asked him was what was your favorite part of Christmas break. He said  “Definitely Christmas, having everyone come to my house to celebrate with family.”  The second question I asked him was what was your favorite thing you got for Christmas. He said  “the best thing I got was a chain that my mom gave me”. The third question I asked him was what is your family tradition that you do. He said  “Every Christmas eve I go to my cousins and on Christmas day everyone comes to my house.” The fourth question that I asked him was what did you do for new years. He said “I went over to my friend’s house.” The last and final question that I asked him was what are your New Year’s Resolutions? He said “Is it better at basketball and being able to run a 7 minute mile or faster?”

The last person that I interviewed was Owen Domingo. The first question was what was your favorite part of Christmas break. He said “not having school”. The second question I asked him was what is your favorite thing you got for Christmas. He said  “airpods.” The third thing I asked him was “what are your family traditions?” He said  “so every Christmas morning I open presents and the night before we go to Christmas midnight mass.” The fourth thing I asked him was what did you do for new years. He said  “My mom wanted to watch Wicked.” The last thing I asked him was “What are your New Year’s resolutions?” and he said “nothing.”

Seems like Christmas Break was much needed and that these students are ready to take on the second half of the academic year.
