Baseball has been around for many years and there have been many great teams and players throughout all of those seasons. But what about this season which team will pull off the world series win or which players will win the MVP. To get peoples guesses and take on who is going to win those awards I asked baseball fans Paddy Fuller, Luke Sciandri, and last but not least Christian Palamidessi.

The first question that I asked them was, what team do you think has the best chance of winning the World Series? Paddy’s answer was “The Dodgers because Shohei Ohtani and their pitching staff, also they have unlimited talent coming from trades and free agent signing”. The second person, Luke Sciandri answered “The Dodgers because they have every single really good player and are spending every single dollar they have to make their team better than everyone else’s.” The last person Christian Palamidessi, answered “The Dodgers because they have one of the best pitching rotations and the best hitting rotations including Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman.” All three had the same answer The Los Angeles Dodgers 

The next question was, who was the best free agent signing this offseason? Paddy’s answer was “Juan Soto going to the New York Mets when he came from the New York Yankees.” Luke’s  answer was “Blake Snell” who went to the Dodgers from the San Francisco Giants. Christian Palamidessi’s answer was also Juan Soto signing with the New York Mets.

The third question that I asked was, what team do you think will be the best team in the future or who has a young uprising team? Paddy’s answer was “The Mets because they have Juan Soto who will be a stud and they have Fransisco Lindor.” Luke’s answer was “The Giants because they are my favorite team and are relying on the young squad to step up.” Christian’s answer was “The Orioles with Adley Rutchman, Gunnar Henderson and Jackson Holiday all rising stars.”

The next question that I asked was, who do you think will win the MVP from the NL and AL. Paddy’s answer was “Shohei Ohtani for NL who plays for the Los Angeles Dodgers and Aaron Judge for AL who plays for the New York Yankees.” Luke’s answer was “Juan Soto for the NL who plays for the New York Mets and Aaron Judge for the AL.” Christian’s answer was “Shohei Ohtani for the NL and Bobby Witt Jr for the AL who plays for the Kansas City Royals.”

The final question that I asked was who do you think is going to win ROY which stands for the Rookie Of The Year. Paddy’s answer was “Christian Moore out of Tennessee” which was a little biased because he is a Tennessee fan. Luke’s answer was “Tyler Bremmer, who came from UC Santa Barbara”. Christian’s answer was “Bryce Eldridge should play the best of all the rookies.” which he went to Alabama for college.

I can’t wait for the baseball season to begin and I am super excited to watch all of these players hit absolute moonshots which is my way of saying home runs.
