There are a lot of water bottles that are popular right now. There are Owalas, Hydro Flasks and Stanleys. I wanted to know which water bottle wins the Water Bottle Brawl so I interviewed some people to get their opinions. First I interviewed Mackenzie Shiltz, then Gabby Costantino, and finally I interviewed Audriana Gordon. I wanted to know their opinions on each water bottle and how much they use their water bottle daily. Now, let’s start this Water Bottle Brawl!

I first asked what their opinions on Hydro Flasks were. Mackenzie said that she loves her hydro flask because it is very durable and it keeps her drink cold without spilling. Gabby responded that she had never actually used one but that she had heard some good reviews on it. Finally, Audri said that she likes Hydro Flasks because of the straw and how it works. Based on these answers I think it’s safe to say that hydro flasks are a good choice of water bottle.

I have seen Owala water bottles pop up in popularity lately so I wanted to see what my peers thought about them. The second question I asked was what their opinions are on Owalas. First Mackenzie said that she likes them but there is a little grey rubber piece that is supposed to keep water in that you have to take out when you wash it so it doesn’t get moldy and that she always forgets to put it back in the water bottle lid so it leaks. Gabby’s reply was a lot different then the others so I was shocked. She said that she personally thinks that they are very common and overrated. Finally Audri said that she likes them because they are very aesthetic and pretty. I got some mixed commentary on this one which is very interesting.

Next up is Stanleys but I think the answers might surprise you. I asked what their opinion on Stanley water bottles was and their answers were all mostly the same. They all said that they hate them. Mackenzie said that she does NOT like them because they are very bulky and leak everywhere. Gabby said that she doesn’t like Stanleys because they spill everywhere everytime they get knocked over and it is very annoying and a hassle to clean up. Finally Audri said that she also doesn’t like them because they spill easily. I remember when Stanleys were really popular and everyone was getting one, but I guess the hype has died down.

For my next question, I asked which type of water bottle everyone prefers: plastic or metal.  I personally think both have their own perks, but I was curious to see what everyone else would say. Everyone said metal because it keeps your water cold. 

Finally, for my last question, I was curious to see if anyone actually used these water bottles. My final question was to see how much water everyone drinks daily. Mackenzie said that she doesn’t drink enough water. I am the same. Gabby said she drinks about 32 oz, which is the size of her current water bottle and Audri said the same as Mackenzie. 

Overall, it really depends on what you like, but based on the answers I got, it sounds like Hydro Flasks are the winners of this Water Bottle Brawl.
