The MLB season is off to an amazing start as so far there have been many blowouts.  There have also been many close games.  Not to mention that there are already teams with a winning percentage under 300.  One being for example the Chicago White Sox. As they are projected to have a 54-108 season. With that record they would have a win percentage of .333.  But on the bright side at least Sacramento has something to be excited about.  The A’s are playing right here in the River Cats Stadium. This stadium is called Sutter Health park.  It is just crazy that the A’s chose to stop in our home town. 

Now let’s take a look at the NL league.  Currently in the west the Dodgers, Padres, and the Giants are dueling for first place.  Meanwhile the Diamondbacks and Rockies are stinking it up.  The Rockies currently have an even worse record than the White Sox. As they are 5-25 on the season so far (at the time I am writing this). Now let’s switch gears into the Al (American League). As the yankees came to town for Mothers Day weekend.  On Friday the 9th of May Sutter Health Park was packed.  As it was sold out.  There were mostly Yankees fans.  On Friday the 9th of May the Yankees took the win 10-2. As Jason Domínguez got player of the game hitting three home runs. A solo shot, A two run home run and a grand slam.  He was the player of the game.  Then on Saturday the A’s took the win against the yankees in the late innings scoring 4 in the bottom of the 8th, the final score was 11-7.  The A’s are doing really well this year compared to the last few years.  In the AL west, as they are only 1.5 games behind the Seattle Mariners. 

MLB fans should get ready for the All Star Break.  As the All star game is on July 15, 2025.  Go to mlb.com/all-star to vote your favorite players in the All Star game.  So far the Yankees are still using their infamous torpedo bats.  For those of you that do not know what a torpedo bat is, it is a bat with a really skinny handle then at the barrel it gets huge.  (look at the bottom of the page for what it looks like.)  The MLB has to do something about these bats soon.  They are just too good.  The Dodgers are currently favored to win the World Series.  If you ask me, that is my choice (but only because I am a Dodgers fan).  If the Dodgers do not win the World Series my second choice is the Detroit Tigers. They are currently the best team in the American League, that is a team I would also like to see win the World Series because I never thought that they had or have what it takes. I think the MLB season is going to be awesome.  The question is do you?
